Laadli Care Package

Although completely natural, menstruation is largely considered a taboo topic in the South Asian community. As a result, many people shy away from donating pads and tampons to food banks and shelters. Just like food and shelter, pads and tampons are essentials and we want to ensure that they are accessible by everyone in our community.

To tackle this issue and eradicate period poverty, we have created the Laadli Care Package. For $20, you can purchase the Laadli Care Package, which includes a pack of tampons/pads, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and a toothbrush for a Laadli in need. At the end of each month, we donate all of the care packages purchased to Seva Food Bank, who then give to a laadli in need on yours and our behalf or international students in need.
