Sukhpreet has been working as a Registered Nurse for the last 10 years and has had various roles throughout her nursing career. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at McMaster University in 2014 and most recently completed her Masters in Nursing. Over the last 7 years, Sukhpreet has been working at a sexual assault/domestic violence care centre. Her current role includes managing the program, completing outreach and providing education to the community. Sukhpreet has been exposed to many walks of life through her work. She has a growing passion to share what she has learned and bring more awareness on sexual assault and intimate partner violence within the South Asian community.
